Abstract
Signal and Noise in the Era of Journalism 5.0 is a joint project of the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Czech Technical University and the Czech Radio (ČRo) supported by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA ČR). This workshop was intended for journalists, journalism students and the professional public, which presented the Czech Radio's technological development plans affecting the work of journalists in practice, problems such as individual types of information disorders led by disinformation, which journalists and readers encounter especially in the online world.
The workshop also described other new technologies and tools, such as automatic summarization or automatic distortion detection in texts.
