Abstract
This paper is devoted to the circumstances surrounding origin, development and termination of the Czechoslovak Motorist Defence Corps in 1938 and 1939. This organisation was established as a result of collaboration between Czechoslovak automobile clubs (Czechoslovak Auto Club and the League of Czechoslovak Motorists) and the Ministry of National Defence, while promoting development of motoring during a period in which the country was under threat.
