Abstract
The application is focused on the knowledge of extinct landscapes in selected model localities, which were investigated within the project DG18P02OVV008 "Dědictví zaniklých krajin: identifikace, rekonstrukce a zpřístupnění" (Heritage of Extinct Landscapes: Identification, Reconstruction and Presentation) (www.zaniklekrajiny.cz). The application in the form of texts, images and videos provides information about extinct landscapes in conjunction with Google maps and direct landscape observation.
The basic functions include the localization of model areas on Google maps, geolocation - display of the user's location, navigation of the user to the selected model area. Thanks to the display on portable mobile devices, the digitized content from the research part of the project is connected with the real environment of the extinct countries.
