Guidelines Atrial fibrillation

Publication at Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové |

Abstract

Atrial fibrillation is a supraventricular tachyarrhythmia with uncoordinated electrical activation of the atria and, as a result, ineffective atrial contraction. It is by far the most common heart rhythm disorder that GPs encounter in everyday clinical practice.

The recommended procedure addresses the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of atrial fibrillation in primary care and cooperation with specialized facilities.
