Detention facilities in the light of the recodification of criminal proceedings

Abstract

In the part of book, the author presented the preparatory work on the future Czech Criminal Procedure Code in the area of means of detention. He focused his attention on the common provisions, as well as on the provisions on the detention of persons.

He pointed to possible future changes compared to the current Criminal Procedure Code and to foreign legislation, which were the sources of inspiration for the drafting of the proposal.
