Half-Forgotten November. The International Students' Day and Its Layered Memory

Abstract

The International Students' Day is one of the few global symbols that originated in Czechoslovakia. After 1989, the long tradition of 17th November was pushed back by the references to the Velvet Revolution in the Czech public discourse.
