Temple in the Bible, history and symbolic significance

Abstract

A review of a collective monograph on the Temple in Jerusalem. I compare the concept of the rabbinic approach with the religious approach, based on archaeological findings and the attempt to spiritualize the whole message homiletically.

At the same time, I present the scientific work of the authors of the monograph.
