Abstract
Ocular manifestations associated with IBD can be found in the practice of gastroenterologists in approximately one third of patients. Detection of ocular EIM can be a valuable signal of activation of the underlyng disease.
Due to the mentioned variability of affections, it is usually necessary to recommend an examination by an ophthalmologist.
