Abstract

A review article on the edited volume Ivan Chorvát, Jiří Šafr (eds.): Volný čas, společnost, kultura. Česko - Slovensko. Praha, Sociologické nakladatelství (SLON) 2019.

The article discusses various aspects of the contribution to Czech and Slovak sociology that the book has made and its relation to international research on leisure and lifestyle and the Bourdieusian approach to cultural consumption.
