Heritage characterization and strategies for resilient small towns

Abstract

The concluding chapter summarizes major findings of the case studies. On that basis, it draws more general conclusions concerning heritage in small towns and its commodification, heritage-based strategies adopted by (mostly European) small towns, and the links between heritage and small town resilience.
