Abstract
Financial markets are to a certain extent resistant to external factors. However, it is again the financial markets that serve the purpose of accumulating large amounts of capital, which needs to be protected by regulation.
My paper focuses on the challenges facing financial derivatives markets in the wake of the UK's exit from the European Union and the Covid-19 pandemic, analysing, among other things, the implications for investor confidence in the financial markets of selected countries and the movement of investors to other jurisdictions.
