Abstract
In the second part of the article, which deals with long-term care and the need to reform this area in the Czech Republic, we will present the main barriers to the development of social services and the sustainability of the whole system. We provide critical insight into the long-term and current shortcomings from three different perspectives.
From the perspective of a social service provider, from the perspective of a health service provider and finally from the perspective of the client, i.e. the elderly person requiring some degree of support and care.
