This book contains fundamental information about the beginnings of playing doublebass. The foudation of the book is methodology of prof.

Jiří Hudec, a teacher at Music Arts Academy in Prague and the Royal Music Academy in Manchester. This book was also translated to german language by PhDr Eva Wohlmuthova and other translators in Germany.

All the methodolodical procedures in the book are enriched by photo documentation. We will find basic information and introduction of the instument, how to hold and work with the bow, basic technic of right and left hand, positions and vibrato practice.
