Glass melting experiments in the Archeopark in Hanušovce nad Topľou

Abstract

International exhibition dedicated experiments in Archaeology MAMUZ Shcloss Asparn 2021-2022. Individual kapitel about the results of glassmelting experiments in wodd fiered fournaces.

This fournaces is the reconstruction of an archaeological find from the 9th Century frm Bratislava. The experiments brought several results to the multidisciúlinaryresearch of historical glass.

For example we hav exactly demopnstrated oxides introduced by flue gases and ceramics of crucibles.
