Abstract
Three Roman coins were discovered in 2019 and 2020 during an archaeological metal detector survey in the Lipany battlefield (1434). Two (nos. 1-2) were found in the area of a Roman Iron Age settlement while another one (no. 3) comes from a find-spot in which Roman Iron Age occupation is not known.
The finds enrich our knowledge of coin circulation in the Kolín region in the Roman Iron Age.
