Abstract

Every one of us has undoubtedly met a person on the street who plays a musical instrument or sings, or makes a living statue of himself, or paints, or wears a hat and picks up money into it. If you are in a hurry, you often overlook these people and pay no attention to them, while for example, during the coronavirus pandemic, it was perhaps the only way to hear live music.

From time to time, you might stop and, regardless of whether you like what they're doing, you'll throw some money into their various coffers. Buskers don't get enough attention in society, they might be a little bit mysterious individuals or, in the vernacular, "dubious existences", but they are one of the last phenomena of a very specific craft.
