Abstract

Hillfort Dřevíč is the most important polycultural archeological site in the Rakovník district. It represents an important place in the administrative and settlement structure of the Přemyslid stateduring the early Middle Ages.

Newly finded sets of archaeological finds (coins, trade and production artefacts, clothing accessories, etc.) confirm this position of the hillfort. These finds are the result of systematic detector prospecting organised by the Archaeological Department of the T.
