Josef Bernt and the beginnings of legal medicine in the Czech lands

Abstract

This chapter focus on doctor Joseph Bernt, professor of "Staatsarzneikunde" at university in Prague and later at university in Vienna, especially his writings about pathology and the state of mind in suicides.
