Abstract
It is the first part of publication "Current Issues in Copyright Law and Industrial Law - 2021" deals with the obvious task of the so called Artists provisions of the Directive on Copyright in Digital Single Market (DSM Directive) which is to correct a perceived imbalance between the creators on the one hand and the licensees on the other as the DSM Directive recognises that authors and performers are usually in a weaker contractual position.
