Deciphering provenance of Roman and Late Antique pottery from Yambol Region, Bulgaria

Abstrakt

Pottery studies are recently evolving, combining morphological studies with various methods using natural sciences. The talk focused on combination of the classical approach to ceramic studies with ceramic petrography involving thin-section analyses and chemical analyses of pottery material from several settlements in Bulgaria.
