Abstract
Women and Men in Czech Pediatrics 2202 members of the Czech Pediatric Society were sent a questionnaire how they perceive their professional position. 480 women and 244 men responded. The birth of a child is a moment in their next career.
There is some discrimination against women in our country. In general, this is due to the more frequent absence of women in the workplace, maternity leave, but also inappropriate behaviour of some colleagues.
