Abstract
The aim of the educational event is to point out the importance of geometry in school mathematics, deepen participants 'knowledge in this area and provide specific ideas for working with students that can help increase students' interest in geometry and mathematics as a means of solving real problems. Other goals include deepening knowledge in the field of working with digital technologies supporting the teaching of geometry, eliminating some misconceptions in the curriculum of geometry and getting acquainted with the applications of geometry in real practice.
