Psychology of teaching/learning - its importance and its challenges

Abstract

The lecture offered an interconnection of knowledge of psychology and didactics in the preparation and implementation of teaching, which should lead to effective learning. Using the metaphor of the circle, it demonstrated the necessity of conceptual analysis of the curriculum and its confrontation with the preconcepts of the pupils.

Teaching should then adapt to the outcome of this confrontation, especially by focusing on overcoming so-called cognitive obstacles.
