Abstract
The text introduces the use of the verb podívat se / go to see in its non-central meaning as a verb of movement, to reflect the use of this selected semen of a given verb by non-native speakers of Czech based on corpus analysis of the CzeSL SGS corpus and the Merlin corpus. The aim of the text is to draw attention to the possibility of intentional extension of the semantic field of the verb movement for non-native speakers of Czech.
