Abstract

This book presents an exploratory study of the approach of selected European Union member states to financial innovation policy. At the same time, it focuses on the analysis of economic data and data related to the indicators of the local financial systems.

Based on these data, mainly related to financial institutions and the performance of supervision, the achieved level of harmonization of law in the field of providing financial services is then evaluated.
