The paper deals with how Jakoubek of Stříbro received John Wyclif's ideas in his preaching collections. While earlier scholars have emphasized Jakoubek's dependence on the Bohemian reform thinker Matthias of Janov, Jakoubek drew heavily on Wyclif's works in his preaching collections.
In his Evangelical Postil of 1413/1414, he took long passages from various theological works of Wyclif, and in his later Exposition of the Decalogue he even quoted Wyclif as an authority.
