Abstract
The book is the first purely Czech professional publication addresing the topic of anaesthesiology comprehensive. It is intended primarily for physicians who are preparing for a specialization exam in anaesthesiology and intensive care or are already working in the field.
A comprehensive professional publication on anaesthesiology has been written up by top Czech anaestheiologists from various workplaces. Individual topics and chapters were chosen to cover the entire spectrum of anaesthesiology care to the extent appropriate and necessary to pass qualification requirements.
At the same time, it contains topics that are seemingly marginally related to the actual administration of anaesthesia, but complement and illustrated the complex issues of anaesthesiology care in our environment.
