Abstrakt
At the turn of 2020, a monograph by Michal Ržoutil, a remarkable scholar on the modern history of the Eastern Churches, was published in the Czech Republic by Pavel Mervart (Pro Oriente Heritage of the Christian East series). This is the author's second monograph devoted to the topic of the persecution of Christians in the Middle East in the present ("our") time - in fact, it continues and as if reinforces the author's right to "speak loudly" and publicly about reality, in which Christians in the Middle East have found themselves for decades, as a reality of life and as a reality of death, and not just as "problems" that provoke (a state of deep concern) Christians in more favorable conditions.
