Abstract

The presented monograph is a monumental work containing almost 700 pages of text, which is accompanied by more than 250 illustrations. A series of illustrations is taken from medieval anatomical writings and textbooks and illustrate views of the human body landscape at that time, organ building, autopsy procedure, skeleton and its components.

Extension and repositioning apparatuses and phases are also shown some operations. Illustrations are an integral part of the text and very well complete the text.

Most of them are published in our country for the first time. The text is broken down up to 95 chapters, the bibliography contains 431 items.
