Abstract

The article is devoted to the latest word-formation processes, such as quasi-compounding and blending. Neological and occasional names thus formed increasingly penetrate from the original specific communication areas into everyday communication.

They can be viewed as manifestations of the general principles of analogy and anomaly when creating new names. The article places them in a more general theoretical framework, and presenting examples from the Internet and the dictionary of Hacked Czech.

The Unorthodox Dictionary of Today's Mother Tongue (2018) it illustrates the possibilities of using neological names in teaching Czech word-formation at school.
