The review presents and assesses a comprehensive set for teaching Slovak as a foreign language, including two parts of the conversational textbook Slovenčina ako liek (2019, 442 pp.) and Slovenčina ako diagnostika (2019, 216 pp.) and the follow-up exercise book Slovenčina ako cvičenie (2020, 214 pp.). This Slovak language teaching material is intended for international medical students.
It is based on a gradual gradation of grammatical phenomena, methodologically uses cognitive psychodidactic bases and applies the method of Situational language teaching and Natural approach.
