Economization of Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) in Visegrad Countries

Abstrakt

The chapter deals with the economization processes of ECEC in the so called Visegrad coutries. The post-socialist legacy of these countries shapes their particular approach to the ECEC sector and the specific forms of economization within this sector.

The examples of national variations of economization processes will are being presented in relation to three historic periods - the period of state socialism, period of post-revolutionary transformation and in the period of EU membership.
