Abstract
Review of a synthetic publication devoted in two basic sections to the issue of exhibiting contemporary art in the period from the first post-Stalin relaxation of cultural policy to the end of the century. In the first part, entitled The History of Exhibitions, all three authors address the theoretical and historical context of the topic, while the second part, The Exhibition Archive, is conceived as a monographic case study, devoted to selected exhibition titles.
