Abstract
The chapter describes main types, strategies and figures of the cultural transfer in Bomenian Lands in the 18. and 19. century. In the first part, it deals with the Popular Enlightenment and foccuses the role of the publishers and freemasonry in it.
In the second part it deals with the later type of Popular Enlightenment (Volksaufklärung) and its different development in Bohemia (nationalising) and Moravia (ongoing territorial patriotism).
