Holmer's presentation on the topic of caring for people living with dementia using psychosocial interventions. The aim of the presentation was to present the needs of people with dementia, the symptoms of the disease and the possibilities of influencing them.
Individual techniques and possibilities of psychosocial interventions and examples of good practice were presented. The presentation was followed by an educational video created within the ERASMUS SidDeCar project.
Then there was a discussion with the lecturers and protagonists of the video (PhDr. Miroslav Barták, Ph.D, Mgr.
Monika Čajko Eibicht). In the afternoon block, prof.
Bartoš possibilities of examination of cognitive functions using original ALBA and POBAV tests. Participants had the opportunity to try out the tests interactively during the online broadcast.
