The paper is focused on how changes in the currivular document FEP, especially the introduction of the subject Informatics and integration of digital competence into education at primary and secondary schools, were reflected in teacher education at the Faculty of Education, Charles University. Experience with teaching two compulsory subjects (Digital Technology in Primary Education, Didactics of Information Technology) for primary education student teachers was presented.
A great attention was paid to the newly accredited study program "ICT Teacher Education for lower and upper secondary school education.
