Postpositive adjectives in language acquisition. No bias for canonical word order

Abstract

The analysis of adjectives processing and positioning in English speaking children offers interesting information about the grammatical nature of these items. The crucial aspect emerging from this review is the non-canonical treatment of adjectives that children display for approximately four years during development.
