From palafittes to palaces. The development of habitation on the shores of Lake Ohrid

Abstrakt

The aim of the lecture is to present the ongoing research of the Czech-Macedonian expedition in the Lake Ohrid region of Northern Macedonia. The research project focuses on the reconstruction of habitation in the region.

The lecture will discuss the different types of settlements and necropolises, the impact of changing natural conditions and the dynamic adaptation of the population to these changes during the 1st millennium. B.C.
