Abstrakt
A linguistically focused paper can be understood as an introduction to the issue of linguistic contact between Iranian languages and their speakers with the speakers of the so-called Altaic language family. The issue can be traced on several levels - chronological, geographical, semantic or genetic (in this case, especially in the area of Iranian language contact with Turkish or Mongolian speakers).
