Abstract
This book contains four studies of organized crime using SNA. It is a translated excerpt from the author's dissertation (Diviák, 2020).
The presented studies come mainly from the Czech environment and at the same time present in the Czech context the previously not systematically treated issue of studying criminal networks, analytical sociology and statistical models for network data. Thus, the readers have the opportunity to get acquainted not only with SNA and the case studies from the Czech environment, but also with the findings from these three dynamically developing and relatively new areas at the border of social science and network science.
