From the Máj department store to the General Pension Institute

Abstract

The functionalist building of the General Pension Institute, Prague, is listed. However, the office for preservation of the City of Prague agrees with its reconstruction which ugly changes the composition of the monument.

The paper analyses the argumentation of the Prague office in this cause.
