Abstract
The violinist Pavel Šporcl will perform in the castle courtyard to open the international music academy Ameropa Music 2021, of which he is the artistic director and guarantor. He will be joined at the opening concert by the Academy's special guest, violinist Lihay Bendayan, professor at the Jerusalem Academy of Music.
Together they will perform Bach's Double Concerto in D minor accompanied by the Praga Camerata Chamber Orchestra. Pavel Šporcl will close the concert with Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons.
This concert launches the Ameropa Music Academy, a new project of summer music courses that follow the Ameropa Chamber Music Academy. Under the artistic direction and personal guarantee of violinist Pavel Šporcl, director Ada Slivanská and with the participation of Czech and international artists and teachers, the summer music academy for young artists and a music camp for children will be held in Brandýs nad Labem as every year.
