Communication between teachers and parents proved to be essential during distance learning. It placed new demands on teachers.
The paper is based on a research probe of 60 teachers of various types of schools who described their experiences with parents during distance learning. It turned out that most teachers had to change their practices, strengthen communication with parents, be more open and prepare new electronic opportunities not only for children but also for parents.
Some of the teachers who complained significantly about their contact with their parents apparently had problems before the pandemic, and the new conditions only exacerbated their problems.
