Abstract
The publication is intended for students of 1st grade teaching. Elementary school and kindergarten teaching.
However, it can also be used by teachers who already work in schools or pre-school facilities, or by students preparing for teaching at higher school levels. The e-book offers an up-to-date didactic view of the development of initial reading literacy and pre-literacy in the Czech school, with the participation of a team of didactics, psychologists and teachers from practice.
In addition to the theoretical basis, practical examples in the form of videos are given for individual didactic procedures. The publication contains control questions intended for self-study.
