The study focuses on co-teaching in the context of education for children with special educational needs, using the situation in the German state of Baden-Württemberg as an example. The article first briefly introduces the legislative background of inclusive education in Germany, then the text presents the basic types of co-teaching and reflects on their applicability in the field of special education.
Data on the situation in Germany were collected through interviews with experts and further processed in the framework of research on the co-teaching method, which is being carried out by a team from Charles University, Department of Andragogy and Management, Faculty of Education.
