Abstrakt
The workshop was carried out as part of the symposium of the association of Czech teachers of FLE on November 20, 2021 to share good teaching practices with other trainers. The chosen activity was taken from Sequence 5 of the manual Et si on discussait? titled How do you express an opinion? which aims above all to show how, in order to convince, an individual can more or less involve himself in his discourse, and by what processes subjectivity invests language or seeks to erase itself from it.
It is therefore a question of approaching the argumentation from the point of view of its effects on the receiver. The activity was linked to the theme chosen this year for the symposium.
Indeed, from the authentic audio-visual document "Tiphaine Lagarde and Animal Liberation" (Vox Pop, Arte, 2018), we have critically analyzed an environmental discourse. We wanted to reflect on what may or may not convince us in the speech of the young activist, and we wanted in particular to show how the diversion of a certain vocabulary makes it possible to justify the anti-speciesist ideology.
