Abstract
The author reviewed the publication of a Czech family physician, Dr. Vít Skalička.
In his book, he deals with the current medical terminology and has created a dictionary of the most problematic medical terms. The author of the review emphasizes the doctor's experience with the everyday use of terminology and his ability to describe the terminology from the pragmatic view at all language levels.
The author of the review appreciates the doctor's language skills and excellent knowledge of the difficult aspects in medical communication.
