Continuity, Discontinuity and Change : A Perspective from the New Kingdom to the Roman Era

Abstract

Nine individual contributions on aspects of continuity and change in Egyptian society based on the in-depth analysis of textual and iconographic data from New Kingdom non-royal cemeteries and traditional temples of the Ptolemaic and Roman era. The book also contains two co-authored chapters summarising the main results of the volume, and also outlines topics for future research.
