A View of the Current State of Inclusion in Czech Schools: Inclusive Practice in Education since 2016

Abstract

The chapter briefly looks into the history of the development of inclusive efforts and introduces the reader to the current system of support and advisory services in the field of education of pupils with special educational needs in the Czech Republic. Attention is paid to the education of pupils with special educational needs across the education system from pre-school education to university education.

To better illustrate the issue, some examples from practice are given. It also highlights some of the problems that the whole system of inclusive education in the Czech Republic is currently facing.
