Abstract

The article deals with the concept of liminality (Gennep, Turner), the phenomenon of photographs of liminal spaces. It then develops a reading of Věra Linhartová's dramatic text The Translator in the context of liminality.

In the conclusion, i suggest overlaps to related texts.
